Our goal is to create novel
technological approaches and build real-world systems that:
- Safeguard non-expert users from both technological
and social engineering attacks;
- Protect the current and future Internet against
Denial-of-Service and routing attacks;
- Design secure sensor networks that are easy to
securely set up and maintain; and
- Create a trustworthy computing environment — despite
security vulnerabilities in applications and operating systems.
To tackle these challenges, we take
a multidisciplinary approach, blending expertise from
- Applied cryptography;
- Public policy analysis;
- Security system design;
- Security protocol design; and
- User experience design;
