Who Are We?

  People

Our goal is to create novel technological approaches and build real-world systems that:

  • Safeguard non-expert users from both technological and social engineering attacks;
  • Protect the current and future Internet against Denial-of-Service and routing attacks;
  • Design secure sensor networks that are easy to securely set up and maintain; and
  • Create a trustworthy computing environment — despite security vulnerabilities in applications and operating systems.

To tackle these challenges, we take a multidisciplinary approach, blending expertise from

  • Applied cryptography;
  • Public policy analysis;
  • Security system design;
  • Security protocol design; and
  • User experience design;
